Robert W. Day, MD, Ph.D
Dr. Day is Emeritus Dean and Professor in the School of Public Health, University of Washington, and Emeritus CEO and President of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center where he continues as a Member in Public Health Sciences. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Preventive Medicine. After completing medical and research training (M.D., University of Chicago and Ph.D., University of California Berkeley), he served as Deputy Director of the California State Department of Public Health. An advisor and consultant to biotech companies, funds, and research centers, he is also a founder of several biotech companies (Epigenomics, Targeted Growth) and an investor in the field.

Eugene Lee
Mr. Lee is the former President, Asia Pacific, Siemens Medical Solutions, President of Siemens-Asahi Medical Technologies Tokyo and Chairman of the Siemens Group of Companies in Japan. Mr Lee was President of International Investments Consultants Co. Ltd. in Tokyo and a Professor at Sophia University. He was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Tokyo where he studied Japanese Law after completing his legal studies in the United States.

Richard Rubin, MD
Dr. Richard Rubin is a leading Washington D.C. area cardiologist. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and is the chief of cardiology at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Rubin obtained his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Board of Cylex Inc. and serves on the Medical or Physician Advisory Boards of Emergency Filtration Products, Inc., Biotech 21, and Health Cost Consultants, Inc.

Keikichi Honda
Mr. Honda is Chairman of NCR Japan and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Microsystems K.K., Economic Advisor to the President of the Bank of Tokyo, Ltd and the Bank's Chief Economist. Mr. Honda is a graduate of the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Law and is a former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago-Tokyo Bank. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Tokyo where he led the Bank's Economic Research Division as its Chief Economist.

Katsuhiko Itoh, Ph.D
Dr. Itoh has twenty years’ expertise as a Health Care and Pharmaceutical sector analyst at Nikko Capital, Deutsche Securities and Société Générale Securities. Dr. Itoh started his career at Mitsubishi Pharma as a senior researcher focusing on drug discovery. Dr. Itoh holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Science University of Tokyo. Dr. Itoh's scientific research has been published in several countries.

Sean O'Leary
Sean O’Leary was formerly an Associate with MLSV. Mr. O’Leary joined MLSV from the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF), where he developed and managed a grants program to provide funding to Russian technology start-ups and to support the development of strategic partnerships for these companies in the U.S. He holds an M.A. in International Relations and Economics from the Patterson School of Diplomacy at the University of Kentucky and he received a B.A. in History from Centre College in Kentucky.

Mitsuo Yamaki Ph.D
Dr. Yamaki is a business-oriented scientist with extensive international experience in developing early-stage biotechnology companies in the U.S. and Japan. Dr. Yamaki is a former General Manager of the Pharmaceutical Division of Hitachi Chemical. Dr. Yamaki has a PhD (Virology), from the School of Medicine at Tohoku University.
